LisaBeth “LB” Thomas is no stranger to resilience. From leading a thriving advertising and production agency to facing life-altering setbacks—including divorce, financial collapse, and the loss of everything she built—she has lived through the kind of transformation most people only read about.
But she didn’t stay down.
Through grit, self-discovery, and a refusal to let fear define her, LB rebuilt her life from the ground up. Today, she is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and media professional who helps women navigate fear, reclaim their confidence, and take bold action toward their best lives. Whether she’s on stage, coaching one-on-one, or creating compelling content, LB’s mission is simple: to help women see that their setbacks don’t define them—they refine them.
With over three decades of experience in advertising, marketing, and media production, LB has earned multiple accolades, including Telly and Addy awards for excellence in storytelling. Her work in the industry has positioned her as a leader in crafting compelling narratives that not only sell but inspire.
As an author, LB contributed a powerful chapter to Pieces to Purpose, a collaborative book featuring stories of resilience and purpose-driven transformation. In her chapter, she shares her own journey of rebuilding from loss and finding strength in the face of adversity. Her words serve as a testament to what’s possible when women take ownership of their stories and step boldly into their power.
LB is the Founding President of Texas Women in Business (TWIB), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through three key pillars: education, relationships, and philanthropy.
What began in 2010 as a small idea among friends quickly turned into a statewide movement. LB and her circle were driven by a simple yet powerful mantra: collaboration, not competition. Their mission? To help women grow their businesses, thrive in their careers, and give back to their communities.
LB often jokes, “Honestly, I thought about 25 of us would meet once a month to share a couple of drinks and support each other… and yes, we still do that! But I never imagined that in our first year we’d grow to over 500 members and have chapters in Austin, San Antonio, Lubbock, Bay Area Houston—and we’re still expanding!”
With passion and a bit of humor, LB continues to lead with purpose, proving that when women support women, incredible things happen.

Did you know that between 2018 and 2022 the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) saw a 567% increase in reports relating to sexual enticement of a child?
Not on Our Watch TX (NOWTX) is rallying all women in business to raise awareness of online abuse, exploitation, and sextortion to help protect children and youth. It will take all of us to educate our families, schools, churches, and other communities on how to defend our children from online predators.
